Attorney Profiles
Robert Loberg (Bob) graduated with Honors from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1976. He has maintained a general practice since 1976 and serves as the Pierce County Family Court Commissioner and counsel for several surrounding communities. Prior to joining Mr. Swanson, Bob served as a law clerk at the St. Croix County Courthouse. Bob grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Ellsworth, Wisconsin in 1976. He is active in the community and is a member of the Ellsworth Rod and Gun Club, Lions Club, Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce, and Knights of Columbus. He is a former President of the Chamber and the Rod and Gun Club. Additionally, Bob enjoys teaching swimming lessons at the Ellsworth Community Swimming Pool. Bob is a former Boy Scout leader and Many Point Scout Camp staff member, and is an Eagle Scout. Bob is married to Spring Loberg. Bob and Spring have three children: Lars, Hanna, and Jens. In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time at his tree farm in El Paso, Wisconsin, “relaxing” at his cabin near Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, riding horse in Colorado, hunting and fishing, and playing cards with family and friends.

The mission of the Academy is to establish its members as the premier providers of legal advocacy, guidance and services to enhance the lives of people with special needs and people as they age.
In 2008 Bob’s oldest son, Lars H. Loberg, joined the firm as an associate attorney. Lars has lived in Ellsworth his entire life. Prior to joining the firm, Lars was employed as a law clerk in Minneapolis at Robert Wilson and Associates and served as a legal intern for the Nature Conservancy. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Forestry and received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Lars also maintains a general practice. Lars is committed to the community and is a member of the Ellsworth Rod and Gun Club, Knights of Columbus, and serves as Assistant Scoutmaster to Ellsworth Troop 138. Lars is also a Board Member of the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce and Tomahawk Scout Reservation Alumni Society Board. Lars is a former Tomahawk Scout Reservation staff member and is an Eagle Scout. He is married to Amy Dahlke and has a baby boy named Walker. Lars is an active outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.

In 2011 Bob’s youngest son, Jens H. Loberg, joined the firm as an associate attorney. Jens graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Environmental Geography and Communication Studies. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law. During law school, he served as a law clerk in Woodbury, Minnesota at Jardine, Logan, & O’Brien P.L.L.P. Jens maintains a general practice. He has lived in Ellsworth his entire life and is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to hunt and fish. He is married to Emily Croswell of Hibbing, Minnesota who is a Registered Nurse at Fairview Redwing. Jens is active in the community as he is a member of the Ellsworth Rod and Gun Club, Sons of The American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and Tomahawk Scout Reservation Alumni Society.
